the smell chokes and turns the blue litmus red, but a black ppt forms when iron 3 chloride is added in..
is it chlorine gas or florine gas sia..
i think is flourine gas.. though when i smell it, it smells like the gun powders after burning,
in those firecracker i used to play with when i was young.
and hcl is one of the reactants in gunpowder..
but, fluorine is oso like tat, somemore displace the chloride..
